David co-founded Index Ventures in 1996, a leading VC with 240+ exits and $11.7B AUM. He left in 2013 to become a high school history teacher. After 6 years, he decided to dedicate himself to philanthropy and founded Storyboard Collective in 2020 to amplify impactful storytelling through funding and collaboration."

Laure de Peretti de la Rocca
Partnerships & Operations Manager - The StoryBoard CollectiveLaure de Peretti de la Rocca is Partnerships & Operations Manager at The StoryBoard Collective. Working from 2009 to 2015 as a journalist in Paris for the French channel Histoire TV, Laure de Peretti de la Rocca learnt how important the stories being told shape our minds and our societies. From 2015 to 2020, Laure was an event planner. Laure decided to reunite her two passions: bringing people together and curating transformative stories and started to work for the StoryBoard Collective since its creation in 2020.

Matthieu Rytz
Producer/Director - Deep RisingMatthieu Rytz is a producer, curator, photographer and award-winning film director working at Deep Rising. A visual anthropologist by training, his passion for storytelling has led him across the globe to witness and document complex human and environmental stories. Matthieu specialises in creating multidisciplinary, multichannel projects using film, still images and virtual reality; using whatever medium best serves the story.
