Volunteer at Building Bridges 2022

Building Bridges is a week-long sustainable finance conference focused on bringing together diverse stakeholders to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economic system aligned with the vision put forth in the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.

The first edition of Building Bridges took place in October 2019 and was highly successful, leading to momentum in the Swiss and international communities. We are now building off of that momentum to take more concrete action in the 2022 edition, which will take place October 3 – 6 at CICG, Geneva. It will feature over 65 events on sustainable finance, a marquee summit, and a networking village. It is expected to attract over 3,000 attendees from the finance industry, the United Nations, governments, NGOs, academia, and more.

We are seeking a large group of volunteers to support Building Bridges Week and Summit.

• Learning – Building Bridges will cover the most recent and cutting-edge developments related to sustainability and finance. It is a great opportunity to learn more about this space from leading expert
• Réseautage – Cette initiative bénéficie du soutien d'un large éventail de partenaires, tous présents. C'est une excellente occasion de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes : dirigeants d'institutions financières, entrepreneurs sociaux de pays en développement, responsables de l'ONU et représentants gouvernementaux, ONG, chercheurs et experts. Vous aurez également l'opportunité de rencontrer d'autres bénévoles qui, comme vous, sont animés par le désir d'avoir un impact positif et d'accélérer la transition vers un système financier plus durable et équitable.
• Reconnaissance – Tous les bénévoles seront reconnus de plusieurs manières :

  • Chaque bénévole recevra un certificat et une lettre attestant de ses efforts et de sa contribution.

  • A volunteer page will be featured on our final report summarizing Building Bridges 2022.

  • Building Bridges Merchandise for all volunteers

  • l'opportunité d' échanger et de dialoguer avec des chefs d'entreprise issus d'institutions financières, des entrepreneurs sociaux de pays en développement, des dirigeants de l'ONU et des représentants gouvernementaux, des ONG, des chercheurs et des leaders d'opinion.

Remarque : Tous les bénévoles reçoivent un déjeuner/des collations en fonction de leur horaire et des tâches qui leur sont assignées pendant leurs quarts de travail.

QUE FONT LES BÉNÉVOLES ?

Nous proposons différents rôles aux bénévoles, qui se répartissent en deux grandes catégories :

• Activités liées à l'événement, telles que la gestion des inscriptions et de l'accueil, la fourniture d'informations, le scan des badges et la gestion du vestiaire.
• Logistics and Management activities such as logistical help to Building Bridges staff, helping attendees with directions, help event organizers with any technical requirements or needs for their events during the week. 

Chaque bénévole participera à une combinaison de ces activités en fonction de ses disponibilités et de son emploi du temps.

COMMENT S'INSCRIRE ?

Any students or other individuals interested in volunteering simply need to fill out this form no later than September 16, 2022. In the form, you will indicate how many days you are willing to volunteer and your availability during the week. This will be used to make you a custom schedule.
