La conférence propose un menu 100 % végétarien, réduisant ainsi notre impact environnemental tout en promouvant une consommation responsable et durable. Nos traiteurs privilégient les produits locaux et de saison. De plus, nous avons adopté une démarche de réduction des déchets, minimisant ainsi le gaspillage alimentaire et d'emballages.

We focus and priortise voices from all backgrounds, cultures, religions, ages, and genders to ensure diversity amongst our speakers, participants, and event organisers. Building Bridges takes pride in providing a platform for collaboration amongst varied sectors and stakeholders to uphold our motto ‘share, learn, act’.

Réduire, réutiliser et recycler

Building Bridges is committed to minimising waste and promoting sustainability. For our flagship event, we reuse assets from previous years, limiting printed materials, and prioritising digital-first strategies. All attendees receive recyclable badges, pre-loved lanyards and recycling bins will be placed at the exit to make it easy for everyone to recycle.

Soutenir l'économie locale

Building Bridges prioritises using local companies and talent, including photographers, videographers, podcasters, printers, graphic designer, web and app developers, event managers and the catering company, contributing directly to the economy of our home city, Geneva.

Transports et mobilité

Au niveau local, les participants sont encouragés à utiliser les transports en commun ou à loger à proximité du lieu de l'événement afin de minimiser leurs besoins en transport.

Au niveau régional, pour ceux qui nous rejoignent depuis l'Europe, nous encourageons vivement l'utilisation de modes de transport durables, tels que le train, afin de minimiser l'impact environnemental des déplacements.

Globally, Building Bridges brings together diverse voices from across the world, and therefore flying in international speakers and participants enable us to uphold our commitments to diversity and inclusion. We encourage economy-class travel where possible, as it generally has a lower carbon footprint compared to business or first-class upgrades.
