Mátyás Csiky

Partner Groups - Senior Sustainability Lead

Mátyás Csiky is part of Partner Group’s Sustainability team, based in Zug. He is responsible for implementing the firm’s climate change strategy and for sustainability-related topics within the Private Infrastructure asset class. He also established the firms Sustainability AI Lab, which he oversees. He has 12 years of industry experience and has been with Partners Group since 2016. In addition to his role at the firm, Mátyás serves on the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Capital Markets Advisory Panel, which contributes to the development of financial industry-specific European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) for the European Commission.

Prior to joining Partners Group, Mátyás worked for SUSI Partners, an energy transition fund, where he was part of the investment and asset management team. Before that, he served as an officer for the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Syria. He has also co-founded a start-up focused on developing nature-based, regenerative carbon removal solutions, as well as a public markets impact investor.

Mátyás holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Environmental Management from Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
