Karin Mössenlechner

Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Switzerland

Ambassador Karin Mössenlechner has served as Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Switzerland since September 2023 and is also accredited to Liechtenstein. A career diplomat with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1997, she has held a variety of senior diplomatic and leadership positions, including Ambassador to Malaysia and Director of the Asia and Oceania Department in at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague.

Throughout her career, she has worked across Europe and Asia, promoting peace, security and justice, international cooperation, European integration, economic diplomacy and bilateral partnerships.
