Farms, factories and public infrastructure face high, volatile electricity costs and pressure to cut emissions. Many generate power on-site, but solar produces mainly in summer and daytime. Costly winter and night-time demand remains dependent on the grid.
Windworks builds compact, quiet wind turbines for farms and industrial sites. They complement solar by producing at night and in winter. Our patent-pending control system adjusts each blade to the wind in real time, improving output and lifetime while targeting power costs of about CHF 0.10/kWh.
Business model description: Windworks sells 10-100 kW turbines with site assessment, permitting support, installation supervision and maintenance. Customers buy the asset directly or receive power from an energy-provider partner that owns and operates the turbine under a long-term PPA.
