Shruti Chandrasekhar leads IFC’s PE business across Africa, investing and managing a portfolio of over $2B invested across Africa. Shruti also sits on the IFC Funds Investment Committee. Shruti has been investing in equity transactions since 2006 with a successful track record across VC in developed and emerging markets, growth equity in India and fund investments across the world. Shruti currently serves on multiple advisory committees/boards. Prior to the IFC, Shruti was based in California and focused on late-stage venture capital at a multi-billion family office with multiple investments in unicorns such as Coupa, Anaplan, Flipkart, etc. She has an MBA from Wharton and a BS from MIT.
