Julian Gakpe is Private Equity Analyst at BPI. Julian Gakpe is a crypto enthusiast aiming to ramp up traditional investment funds’ commitment to the crypto / web 3 revolution. Currently working for the French sovereign fund in the fund of funds department, he is deploying a €100m pocket dedicated to promoting the French ecosystem in web 3. Before joining Bpifrance, Julien began his career in Tech investment banks and in crypto ETFs. He was self-taught fullstack web developer for 3 years and did a short stint at the 42 school in Paris. Julien holds a double master’s degree in international finance and management from Toulouse Business School and completed the Blockchain and Decentralized Finance program at Ecole Polytechnique.
