William Bruce

William Bruce is Global Head of Climate Risk Consulting at Aon, where he leads the firm’s global climate risk consulting practice, supporting organizations in identifying, quantifying, and managing the risks and opportunities associated with climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy. In this role, he oversees the development of climate risk analytics, modelling, and advisory solutions, helping clients strengthen resilience, inform strategic decision-making, and respond to evolving regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

William has more than 25 years of experience in risk, sustainability, and management consulting. Prior to joining Aon, he served as Global Head of Enterprise Risk Consulting at Willis Towers Watson, where he led a global team delivering climate transition and enterprise risk advisory services. Earlier in his career, he held senior consulting roles at Marsh and Oliver Wyman, and began his professional journey with EY and PwC, working across financial services, sustainability, and risk management. Throughout his career, he has advised organizations across industries on enterprise risk, climate risk, resilience, sustainability strategy, and business transformation.
