Marta Caballero has spent the past 13 years at the intersection of investment management, sustainability, and data science. Now based in Zurich, she leads Investment Partnerships at Cultivo, a Public Benefit Corporation that develops and operates investable natural assets, enabling institutional co-investment in regenerative landscapes at scale. Cultivo’s growing U.S. rangeland portfolio, anchored by cornerstone investor Octopus Energy Generation, combines multiple revenue streams with data-driven approaches to landscape regeneration.

Marta works with institutional investors to structure commitments that support the origination and financing of nature-based projects. She began her career in asset management at Schroders and Dow Jones in London and New York City, and has written for The Wall Street Journal on the emergence of natural capital as an asset class. She also serves as an advisor to the Denmark-based Savory Foundation, where she focuses on grassland regeneration and catalytic investment models.
