Program Manager - Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)

Maria Güell i Pons is a Program Manager in the Infrastructure Financing Unit at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). She manages SECO’s infrastructure portfolio in Kosovo and North Macedonia, covering energy, water, and urban development, as well as regional water and energy programs across the Balkans and Central Asia. She also oversees a dedicated hydropower initiative that mobilizes Swiss expertise in partner countries. In addition, Maria serves as the team’s thematic lead on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), supporting the integration of resilience considerations into infrastructure investments. She holds a Master’s degree in Numerical Methods from CIMNE and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Public Governance and Administration from ETH Zurich.
