Katja Seidenschnur

Global Head of Sustainability and NHW, Nutrition and Health SBU - Nestle

Katja is currently the Global Head of Sustainability for Nutrition & Health, leading the sustainability and Nutrition, Health & Wellness for the Nutrition & Health business and all dairy ingredients globally at Nestle. She drives to embed sustainability strategically in the business from sourcing to consumers and is responsible for the development and implementation of the Dairy sustainability plan.

Previously, Katja was the Head of Sustainability for Europe as part of Nestlé Europe Executive team, where she embedded sustainability across all categories and countries, developed and implemented a comprehensive sustainability roadmap, and transformed sustainability into a holistic, business-oriented strategy for the European region. She achieved remarkable results by initiating and scaling up initiatives for climate, regenerative agriculture, and circularity and by setting up a European organization for sustainability.

Katja has more than 28 years of strategic and operational experience in global, regional, and national business management in various countries, including general management, marketing, business development, innovation and sales roles at Nestlé and at Henkel. She has a proven track record, including roles as Managing Director with P&L responsibility for regional and national business units. She holds an MBA from the University of Kiel and has completed Executive Programs at Harvard University and IMD Business School.
