Jan-Willem Ruisbroek is an infrastructure investor with twenty years of experience in private markets. He is a non-executive director at Brisa Auto-Estradas de Portugal and at Doral Renewables in Philadelphia, and works as an independent adviser on infrastructure investment and governance. He has previously served on the boards of companies across the energy, transport and logistics sectors. Until 2026 he was Managing Director, Head of Global Infrastructure and Private Natural Capital at APG Asset Management, responsible for a portfolio that grew to close to EUR 40 billion, built through more than 100 transactions across energy, telecommunications, transport and social infrastructure. He studied at Erasmus University, Monash University and INSEAD, and lives near Utrecht.
