Head R&D - CareMother by DotoHealth

Dr.Harshal Sonar recieved his PhD in Robotics, Control, and Intelligent Systems from the Reconfigurable Robotics Lab at EPFL, in 2021. His research has been focused on creating next-generation soft wearable interfaces for immersive tactile feedback using soft materials, including artificial skin and edible robots, for applications in VR, medicine, and rehabilitation. Post-PhD, he led R&D efforts at Bearmind SA, a DeepTech startup integrating impact monitoring for concussive injuries in sports like ice hockey. He is currently the Head of R&D at CareMother (Doto Health), pushing the boundaries of maternal healthcare and women’s health through innovative technology solutions.
