Gilberto Ribeiro

CEO - VOX CAPITAL

Gilberto Ribeiro is co-CEO of Vox Capital, Latin America’s pioneer impact investing firm, where he has spent the past 15 years shaping strategies for investment origination, selection, monitoring, and exits across technology, innovation, and impact. A member of Vox’s Investment Committees since the firm’s first fund, he has guided decision-making on more than 80 transactions and 17 exits, and continues to co-manage proprietary funds alongside his executive role. In 2026, he stepped into the co-CEO position as part of Vox’s planned leadership succession from its founding team.

Before joining Vox in 2011, he held roles in finance, consulting, and organizational development at PwC and Vale. He lectures on the Oxford Impact Investing Programme at Saïd Business School, is a Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellow, and was named an Impact Maker by the UNFCCC High-Level Climate Champions in 2024. He is the author of a book on ESG integration in investment (CFA Society Brazil), and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from FEA-USP and a Master’s in Economics from Insper.
