Corina Gardner

CEO - IDP Foundation

As CEO of IDP Foundation, Corina Gardner oversees their expanding portfolio of partner organizations that strengthen and advocate for the affordable non-state education sector, collaborating with key stakeholders to improve learning outcomes for all children in all settings. IDP Foundation (IDPF) supports both for-profit and non-profit players, providing financing through grants and investments, and acts as a catalyst to attract additional private capital in support of expanding universal access to quality education.

Before IDPF, Corina’s career focused on international development, specializing in gender, technology and global health across Africa, India and the Caucasus. She served as Director of Global Strategy for the Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect, founded the Mobile for Development Intelligence unit within GSMA and worked within multiple US government agencies, including USAID and the State Department, where she was liaison to the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Corina has guest lectured at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, Royal Holloway University of London, London School of Economics, and the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School. She holds a BA from the University of California Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School (class of 2009).
