Global Manager, the Lab - Climate Policy Initiative

Amanda Brasil-Leigh is the Global Manager of the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), based in London. She manages the Lab’s global program, an investor-led public-private initiative that supports the development and launch of innovative financial vehicles designed to mobilize investments for climate mitigation and adaptation in emerging markets.

In her role, Amanda oversees the Lab’s annual incubation program and broader portfolio activities, working with financial institutions, investors, governments, and climate finance practitioners to develop new financial solutions, stress-test them and support their path to market. Since its launch in 2014, the Lab has developed and launched 87 climate finance solutions, which have collectively mobilized more than USD 5 billion for climate action across emerging markets.

Prior to joining CPI, Amanda worked in International Debt Capital Markets at BCP Securities, a US-based investment bank focused on emerging markets. Her experience spans multiple stages of the securities development and issuance process, as well as secondary-market sales and trading.
