The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance (the Lab) will host its annual Endorsement Meeting at Building Bridges on October 7, 2026. The event serves as the Lab’s annual portfolio launch, marking the culmination of a yearlong process through which climate finance experts from across the public and private sectors identify, refine, and endorse innovative financial solutions for emerging markets and developing economies.

“Hosting the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance’s annual portfolio launch at Building Bridges is a natural fit. This year’s Lab cycle attracted more than 1,000 applications, reflecting a growing interest in climate finance initiatives that can be replicated and scaled in emerging markets. Lab alumni have collectively mobilized over USD 5 billion, demonstrating how innovative structures can help unlock larger pools of public and private capital where it is needed most. We are excited to bring this momentum to Geneva and connect the next generation of climate finance solutions with the partners they need to achieve impact at scale.”
This invitation-only gathering will showcase the Lab’s newest endorsed solutions to a global audience of investors, financial institutions, governments, and implementation partners. Endorsement signals that a solution has completed the Lab’s rigorous development process and is ready to advance toward implementation and scale. Building Bridges participants who are interested in attending may submit an expression of interest. Attendance is subject to review and available capacity.
