Program Specialist - SDG Impact Finance Initiative (SIFI)

Salma leads SIFI’s programme, overseeing investment, portfolio management and ecosystem-building activities across its three windows. She brings over seven years of experience in impact and development finance, spanning philanthropy, impact investing and blended finance, and currently manages a USD 33 million portfolio of grants and investments.

Prior to SIFI, Salma worked at KOIS, where she designed, structured and managed blended and impact finance initiatives across health, gender and employment in Sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. She has supported over 20 impact and blended finance transactions in emerging markets, working with public donors, DFIs, UN agencies, foundations and private investors.
