Group Head of Sustainable Investment - Union Bancaire Privée (UBP)

Nicolas Barben leads UBP’s Sustainable Investment Office, overseeing the Group’s sustainable investment expertise and the development of its sustainable product offering. He joined UBP in 2023 from his previous position as Head of Sustainability Regulatory & Strategy at Lombard Odier Group. With over twelve years of experience in ESG integration in investment strategies, Nicolas has developed strong skills to navigate the ESG landscape, data, modelling and regulations. Nicolas holds a master’s degree in Economics and a bachelor’s in Geography from the University of Fribourg, which included two years on exchange at the University of Bonn and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
