Johnny is CEO of the family-owned Twynam Investments. Johnny has been working in the business since 1991, transforming the business from what was one of Australia’s and Argentina’s largest agricultural producers of cotton, wheat, rice, wool and beef, into a multi-asset family office today.

Today the business focusses predominantly on early-stage Venture Capital with a focus on profitability from getting more from less, mining, property development and ag to a small degree, with a focus on breeding world leading, genetically more feed efficient cattle, minimising the footprint of beef.

The Twynam Earth Fund exists on the basis that – Our world needs more from less. Breakthrough technologies can do it, but if they’re going to win, they need to do it better, faster and cheaper.
Real decarbonisation is driven by consumers acting for financial return. We back transformative technologies, processes and business models, that significantly disrupt incumbents through superior unit economics, which drives adoption of less carbon intensive options through lower cost of ownership.
