John Willis is Senior Director at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), where he leads the Aligning Finance & Value and Physical Risk workstreams within the Corporate Performance & Accountability (CP&A) programme. Based in London, John works at the intersection of sustainability, finance, and corporate strategy—helping global companies align performance and sustainability.

Previous roles have included Director of Research for the Tracker Group (the home of the sustainable think tanks, Carbon Tracker and Planet Tracker), Co-Founder and Portfolio Manager at Sustainable Insight Capital Management (an investment manager focused on sustainable funds) , and Global Head of Trading and Research at Deutsche Asset Management (DWS). Before this, John worked on the sell-side as Global Head of Equity Research for Deutsche Bank Securities having previously worked as investment analyst covering the energy and utilities sectors.
