Chief Executive Officer - Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)

Dr Cary Adams is a health leader with experience spanning business, banking and cancer control. Since 2009, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), a Geneva-based organisation uniting more than 1,100 organisations across over 170 countries. Cary and his team advance advocacy, convene the cancer community through World Cancer Day, the World Cancer Congress and the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit, and deliver capacity-building initiatives addressing cancer challenges. He also serves on advisory boards covering tobacco control, early cancer care and non-communicable diseases.
