As Financial Climate Risk Expert, Bert is responsible for ensuring the latest climate and nature knowledge and research is effectively integrated into Ortec Finance’s investment decision-making technology and solutions. He undertakes advanced financial climate and nature research including its translation into Ortec Finance’s forward-looking climate and nature scenario modeling framework with the ClimateMAPS – climate scenario analysis solution. He is a member of the BiROFin Advisory Board. Bert holds a Master of Econometrics and a Ph.D. in Business from the University of Groningen and is currently lecturing in Econometrics and Finance at the University of Groningen.
