Alix LEBEC is a global innovative finance entrepreneur and investor with 20+ years of experience mobilizing and deploying capital at the intersection of global capital markets and systemic change. In 2020, she founded LEBEC, a strategic advisory and investment management platform backed by family offices and institutional investors, and built to channel $5 billion toward solutions building a resilient planet over the next decade. LEBEC activates this vision through three integrated pillars: strategic advisory, its investment manager—LEBEC Capital Partners—which constructs and invests in diversified private market fund portfolios scaling solutions; and narrative change across media and entertainment. Previously, Alix was a founding executive at WaterEquity alongside Gary White and Matt Damon, co-building this $260M+ world-class asset manager and investing in water and sanitation solutions in developing and emerging markets. Her career also includes leadership roles at The World Bank and the Clinton Global Initiative across Europe and Southeast Asia. An alumnus of the London School of Economics and the American University of Paris where Alix received the Distinguished Alumni Award, Alix is also a Top 100 Women to KNOW in America and a Worthy100 Awardee. She serves as a Limited Partner at Polymath Ventures and a member of 100 Women in Finance, with thought leadership featured in Forbes, Inc., Fast Company, and the Financial Times. Alix also served on the Board of iDE Global.
