Adam Lessing is an angel impact investor. His investment focus includes carbon credits and biochar.

He has a long career in asset management with global financial institutions. Most recently he was member of the Board of LGT Bank Austria, the private bank of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. Previously he was Head of Central & Eastern Europe at Fidelity International, Head of Business Development Europe for the British asset manager AVIVA Investors and has held leading positions with AXA IM, Goldman Sachs AM and other major financial institutions.

Adam Lessing is a member of the Sustainability Advisory Board of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF) and of the Advisory Board of Econetix, the carbon asset manager. He is a lecturer on Sustainable Finance at Central European University and the author of “Sustainable Investing against Climate Change“, published by Braumüller, Vienna. He is a regular speaker at international conferences.

Adam holds a doctorate in law (Dr.iur.) from the University of Vienna and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a holder of the CWMA certificate and sworn court expert for banking and securities matters.
