Pascal Chapot

VP, Group Head of Sustainable Agriculture Development - Nestle

Pascal, a French national, has served as Corporate Head of Sustainable Agriculture at Nestlé since November 2020. He joined the company in 1991 at its Paris headquarters and went on to build extensive operational expertise by leading manufacturing units across a range of product categories, including dairy, culinary, chocolate, water and coffee, in countries such as France, Greece, Malaysia and Switzerland. He later moved upstream in the value chain, implementing development projects within Nestlé’s direct sourcing activities and helping strengthen the company’s sustainable agriculture efforts across geographies and crops, including operations in Brazil, Ivory Coast, Chile, India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Mexico, with a particular focus on fresh milk, cocoa, coffee and cereals. Prior to his current role, Pascal served as Regional Technical Manager for the Caribbean Region, where he led local sourcing and manufacturing operations. Drawing on extensive experience leading international teams in multicultural environments, and a hands-on understanding of the entire value chain from farm to factory, he now drives Nestlé’s regenerative agriculture initiative worldwide. Pascal is an Agronomist and Food Engineer from AgroParisTech in France, holds a postgraduate degree in economics, and has completed executive education in business administration. He is 59 years old and speaks French, English and Spanish.
