Mohamed Ngom

Deputy Chief Executive Officer - Teranga Capital Partners

Mohamed NGOM is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Teranga Capital Partners, where he oversees investments, fundraising and strategic support to portfolio companies. With strong expertise in private equity, corporate finance and impact investing, he has contributed to the structuring and deployment of innovative financial solutions supporting SME growth.

At Teranga Capital, Mohamed has led the private equity, seed and acceleration activities. Over the past two years, his teams have supported nearly 50 companies and completed four successful exits generating capital gains, further strengthening Teranga Capital’s track record in value creation and company development.

He has also played a key role in mobilising and deploying concessional funding, including initiatives that helped improve nearly 1,500 youth jobs. Before joining Teranga Capital, Mohamed held positions at Africa Capital Advisors, Crédit Agricole S.A. and BNP Paribas, with a focus on financing and developing agrifood value chains in Africa. He holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Université Paris Ouest Nanterre.

Mohamed is currently contributing to the fundraising of the €23 million JANT Fund, which aims to finance the energy transition of smallholder farmers through solar-powered irrigation solutions.
