David Livingston

Chief Strategy Officer - Galvanize

David Livingston is Chief Strategy Officer of Galvanize, a multi-asset class investment firm that focuses on opportunities in the global energy transition and the business of decarbonization.

Prior to joining Galvanize, David served across two Presidential administrations: in the Biden-Harris administration as senior advisor to the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, John Kerry; and in the Obama-Biden administration as the inaugural Robert S. Strauss Fellow for Geoeconomics at the Office of the US Trade Representative in the White House. He previously has also worked for PIMCO, Eurasia Group, the Atlantic Council, and the Carnegie Endowment. He serves on the advisory councils of Eni Next and Imperial College London, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
