Boris Herrmann is a professional offshore sailor and Team Malizia’s co-founder. In 2020, he became the first German to compete in the Vendée Globe, a solo non-stop around-the-world race finishing fifth. He educates children about the climate and measures data aboard his boat to help scientists better understand Ocean health.
